One way to prevent soil is by gardening. You have to grow plants are indigenous to your area. Another thing to do is plant trees and shrubs which can provide shelter for soil. The roots will help to prevent excess water from washing it away. The second thing is to keep soil moist but you cant drown it. But over-watering can not only wash away soil, but cause it to degrade. The third thing you can do is plant vegetation that will assist in the protection of the soil, like rye or clover. They will protect by thickly covering the ground and they will restrict weed growth and reduce runoff.

describe 3 abiotic factors that could affect biotic potential (population growth) and how they would affect it
One factor is diseases that are spread by people. For example a sexuallt transmitted disease can prevent reproduction because organisms with these diseases may not be able to reproduce at a healthy rate and death may come from these matters. Another form of this is predation. Predators have to get their share of food and by doing this, they kill other animals and ruin habitats in the process. Obviously this can happen with humans as it happens to animals. The last reason can be natural destruction. Human nature is very random which means you never see it coming. You never know when a hurricane or an earthquake might hit and destroy many habitats. Which can cause many species to instinct.
describe why sampling is important to the study of populations
Studying is very important because we want to know what the population of everything is. We need it because for humans its important to know how many people live in a country because of the benefits the people need to have. They also need to know how many representatives are needed for each state. In order to help many people the U.S. needs to know how many people there are because some people aren't able to get the opportunity they need because they weren't counted as part of a population.
